Welcome to the Nations of Panem and Circenses!
Before the Second Rebellion, it was decreed that once a year, the 12 Districts of Panem shall offer up one Tribute, one boy and girl, between the ages of twelve and eighteen to compete in the annual Hunger Games. Yet the country has undergone a transformation to democracy and has abandoned the Hunger Games. Since then, a country named Circenses was formed, as in Panem et Circenses. And so it was decreed that twenty-nine of the Thirty-three Districts of Circenses shall contribute one male and female between the ages of 12 and 33 to participate in the annual Hunger Games.
The 58 Tributes shall be trained in the art of survival and be prepared to fight to the death. Only one Victor shall remain... will it be you?
